The Mazda 3 can be equipped with one of two engines. The first is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine capable of generating 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. Touring 2.5 and Grand Touring trim levels offer the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine which will generate 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. Either engine can be paired with the standard six-speed manual transmission or the available six-speed automatic. The Mazda 3 gets great fuel economy with an estimated 32 MPG on the 2.0-liter engine and an estimated 28 MPG on the 2.5-liter engine. Every Mazda 3 comes complete with front-wheel drive. The Mazda 3 has a smooth and even ride which compliments its compact size, and this is largely thanks to its updated suspension system.

The Grand Touring offers the most upscale amenities and upgrades with the i-Eloop energy recovery system, full-leather upholstery, a digital speedometer, and a premium nine-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system.
