“Retail Evolution” Renovations Coming to MAZDA Dealerships
In 2014, Mazda announced a brand-new dealership design known as “Retail Evolution.” The goal behind the design update was to take Mazda dealerships around the U.S. in a more luxurious direction. Mazda wants to improve the dealership experience for Mazda customers and bring a level of sophistication to the car-buying process that’ll set the brand apart. Retail Evolution locations are beginning to spring up around the country. Hiley Mazda of Hurst - DFW couldn’t be more excited about the Mazda building renovations, and looks forward to making our dealership feel even homier for our customers!
What’s the Retail Evolution Floor Plan?
Again, the goal beyond the design upgrade is to make customers feel more at home. So, the Retail Evolution concept is open and airy. The redesigned Mazda dealerships will have a gallery-like quality to them, giving the showroom more of a dramatic flair. A Customer Lounge will also be included within the building, complete with features like free Wi-Fi, charging stations, a beverage counter, comfy seating, and more. Natural materials will adorn the showroom and lounge for a more charming look and feel.
Designers took the expectations of customers into consideration and created a floor plan through the eyes of the customer. The use of transparent glass, wood accents, a black and white color scheme, and metal materials call attention to the wide selection of new vehicles available in the showroom, while the Customer Lounge includes the amenities you want while you’re waiting for your car to come out of the service bay!
Blueprints for Retail Evolution rolled out in 2014, and now Mazda dealerships are beginning renovations. Mazda is offering different remodeling tiers to dealers, which include full-scale ground-up renovations to less intensive upgrades. It’s all part of Mazda’s upward mobility and push for a more refined brand identity!
